Note - Streams is a literature-based guide to the story of Chinese in America. It uses primarily well-researched and well-written children book’s, along with some videos, to tell the tale. It is consistent with the Charlotte Mason style of education. One of the wonderful things about that method is that it is easy for parents to implement at home, whether they homeschool or not. This will not burden your kids with busywork or you with prep work!!

We do want potential customers to understand what is included. There is a discussion guide for some of the poetry, but there are not discussion questions or worksheets for the other recommended books. In the introduction there are a few suggestions of how you can start a discussion with your children about the books, but we believe the richest discussion are what come naturally from a quality book that can speak for itself. There are timeline events for children to record as a review of the key milestones, to see events in context, and to get their bodies involved. These timeline events are to be recorded on a simple timeline you make, or a timeline or Book of Centuries you already use for history. There also are links to some activities in the supplemental materials, but Streams does not have worksheets or lots of crafts. This is meant to be fun and we think you will love it! Please feel free to email us with any questions!
